Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 September 2026
Natallia Pellew trading as Sweet Moments ("we", "us", "our") operates sweetmoments.me, where we sell an online course teaching how to make zefir flowers ("the Course"). This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we store it, and the rights you have over it.
1. Who we are
Natallia Pellew trading as Sweet Moments, Villa Camellia, Rue des Murs, St Lawrence, Jersey JE3 1EB. You can contact us about anything in this policy at natalia@sweetmoments.me.
2. Information we collect
- Enquiries and waiting-list sign-ups — the name, email address and (optionally) telephone number you give us when you join the course waiting list, subscribe to our newsletter, or send us a message.
- Purchases — when you buy the Course, payment is processed by Paddle (see section 5). We receive from Paddle an order confirmation containing your email address, the product purchased, the transaction reference and the amount paid. We never see or store your card details.
- Course access — the email address you sign in with, and a signed session cookie so the course area remembers you are signed in. We do not track your activity inside the course lessons.
- Website analytics — our public website uses Google Analytics, which collects anonymised information about visits (pages viewed, approximate location, device type) using cookies. See section 4.
3. How we use your information
- To give you access to the Course you purchased and to send you course emails (welcome letter, sign-in links, certificate).
- To answer your enquiries and support requests.
- To send you marketing emails about the Course and Sweet Moments — only if you have signed up for them, and you can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email.
- To understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it.
4. Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use:
- A session cookie in the course area, so you stay signed in while you study. It contains no personal information and is removed when you sign out or close your browser session.
- Google Analytics cookies on the public pages of sweetmoments.me, which report visits and page use to us in aggregated form. You can block these cookies in your browser settings or with Google's opt-out browser add-on without affecting your use of the site.
5. Third-party services
- Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd) — our merchant of record. Paddle processes your payment, handles applicable taxes and issues your invoice. When you pay, you enter your card details into Paddle's secure checkout, and Paddle's own privacy policy and buyer terms apply to that payment. We receive only the order confirmation described in section 2.
- MailerLite — the email platform we use to send course and marketing emails. Your name and email address are stored with MailerLite to send those emails; you can unsubscribe at any time.
- Google Cloud — the hosting provider where our website and databases run.
- Google Analytics — website analytics as described above.
6. How we store and protect your information
Your details are stored in our secure database, encrypted at rest, on Google Cloud infrastructure. We keep your information only for as long as we need it to provide the Course and meet our legal obligations. Access to personal information is restricted to the people who need it to run the service.
7. Email marketing consent
We only send you marketing emails if you have asked for them — by joining the waiting list or subscribing to the newsletter. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. Course emails (access links, receipts, certificates) are separate and are sent because they are necessary to provide the Course you purchased.
8. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you have rights under the UK General Data Protection Regulation, the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018 and similar laws. These include the right to:
- ask what information we hold about you and receive a copy of it;
- ask us to correct, update or delete your information;
- object to or restrict certain processing, including marketing;
- withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent;
- lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at natalia@sweetmoments.me. We will respond within one month.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last updated, and material changes will be noted on this page.
